Born and raised in Walnut Creek, California, Gretchen has grown to know and love what the California landscape has to offer. Besides being a professional photographer, she is also an avid skier, certified scuba-diver, professional ice skater and all-around outdoors-person. She is very familiar with some of the most beautiful natural settings that the Bay Area has to offer.
Traveling extensively throughout her life including living in Thailand for five years and learning the their language, voyaging throughout Mexico, Brazil and the Caribbean, Gretchen is well poised for the adventurous and the exotic. She loves kids, elders and animals and has done extensive work in the area of animal rescue. She has also worked extensively with the developmentally disabled and has a keen sense of nurturing being quite sympathetic to ones particular needs.
