- Sunday night a portion of my collection was faced with every collector's worst nightmare - water! A huge thunderstorm that lasted more than an hour pummeled my house mercilessly, and found a crack. There's a basement window well on the back of the house that's been covered up by plywood since we bought the place. It's always been dry as a bone in that back corner, except the one time our water heater burst. I thought with a new heater it'd be safe to store some of my old MOC and MIMB POTF2 stuff. I didn't see the old window as a risk. I mean, it's a freakin' board sealed with caulking and stuff! That sort of stuff never fails!
