The Official RNLI Cromer lifeboat station website edit
The RNLI Cromer lifeboat station website gives full details about its lifeboats, crew, rescue launches, events and much more.
Based on the North Norfolk coast in the UK Cromer lifeboat station today, is very proud of it's outstanding history.
Probably one of the best known Coxswains in the country is Henry George Blogg who became a member of the crew in 1894 at the age of 18. During his 53 years of service Blogg was awarded three Gold and four Silver RNLI medals for gallantry, as well as the George Cross and British Empire Medal.
With such a famous Coxswain having served here the whole team consider themselves very lucky to be part of such a well known and respected lifeboat station.
2008 saw the first of a new breed of lifeboat enter service at Cromer, the all new Tamar class lifeboat RNLB Lester 16-07. --Adam Lincoln 18:27, 5 August 2008 (PDT)
