- CULRC has raced its Oxford counterpart since 1975. 2000 saw the first reserve race with Granta competing against its Oxford counterpart, Nephthys. Currently Cambridge lead in the Lighweight 8 race, with 20 victories to 12, but trail in the Granta race with two victories against 5. In the last 5 years the races have been very much dominated by Oxford. This year, however, the trialling structure will be altered slightly to try and make CULRC more competitive.
