The company's origins began in 1985, in a spare bedroom in the home of Ariztical "Prez" Michael J. Shoel and his late partner Donald Zelkowski's home in Pasadena, California. The company rapidly expanded and relocated to an office in Hollywood, California. Shortly after that, the company relocated to a larger office on the historic corner of Hollywood and Vine. At that time Michael & Donald owned a distribution company known as Phoenix Distributors. That company specialized in the distribution of a wide variety of low budget horror films such as "Cannibal Campout"…Where Saturday's campers become Sunday's brunch!!!, and "The Assault Of The Killer Bimbo's"
