Custom Automation Technologies, Inc. (CAT) was started in November of 2001 by Dan Hoehnen. It was formed from Dan's previous company, Hone Software, which produced the ACE home automation software. Dan holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University. He has built 3 homes in the Columbus, Ohio area since 1989, each with increasing levels of technology and automation.
