Web Asylum?
This is my asylum away from all the commercialism that seems to be taking over the Web. You don't need any plug-ins except JavaScript (which most browsers have anyway and even if you don't have it, you'll still find lots of interesting stuff here) to enjoy this site.
Okay, there is some small bits of advertising, but not many. And in the case of my own services you can hire like GrokWeb, I believe in it, as I can create Web pages and Web sites much cheaper than my competitors, as I'm not in it to get rich.
But this is a far cry from other sites where you see close to 100 little ads placed upon every single page of their site, along with the annoying pop up ads!
