Cycling Around The World - Inspiration and information for around the world cyclists

Introduction
All information on Cycling Around The World is based on bike trips we made since 1987. Contributions however from other cyclists, are very welcome and will be added to our site.
Every now and then we receive requests to send brochures, and even somebody asked us to book a hotel room at the Grand Canyon! One visitor wanted to order butterflies from the Ecuadorian jungle! There was somebody who asked advice on any form of repellent or device to keep kangaroos away from his yard. And what about the request to translate a letter from English into Thai and Malaysian?
The site started in June 1997 and was 100% in Dutch. We still offer some pages in Dutch but most information nowadays is only supplied in English. At this moment about 500 people visit Cycling Around The World every day.
