- 多次向遭受地震、洪水或雪灾的地区伸出援助之手，捐款捐物为灾区人民重建家园作出努力。1998年中国遭受特大洪灾，摩托罗拉总计捐助2800万元人民币现金金和物资。2000年12月公司举行了主题为“情系西部，共享母爱”的爱心行动周活动，以帮助西部干旱地区的人民早日摆脱严重缺水的困境，捐款达 200 万元人民币，成为在华外资企业捐献最多的企业。2001年, 摩托罗拉公司捐助中心成立。这是北京市第一家在外企设立的扶贫赈灾捐助中心。2003年新疆发生地震，摩托罗拉公司及员工再次为灾区捐款捐物。
