DJResource aims to be a website loaded with information from and for DJ's and everybody that is involved with Dance music. Either if you are playing, enjoying and/or creating it.
Additional Information
DJResource is programmed by Lead and W.i.M, 2 friend that decided to start a website about the passion they both had in common: DJing and DJ Equipment. We have created all section from scratch by our own idea's and needs. Public CMS systems work with skins but you'll never have the freedom to create section and one-off modules.
DJResource started on www.djresource.org on 16 september 2001 when it was registered. At the time a basic HTML website. Some equipment information was added. The first black and dark layout was not used for long, it was replaced by a fresh green one on 6 Februari 2001.
For a very short time on 4 april 2003 we've tried a CMS system which was pretty popular those days : PHPNuke. This added a lot of features to the website, but due to the complicated system the page-loading time went up.
Allready on 25 november 2003 we said goodbye to the lousy PHPNuke system and started with the creation of our own CMS, which we kept on advancing and improving but the basic foundation is still the same.
