The graphic portrayal that results answers the question of WHAT a worker must do to be successful, and becomes the basis for management decisions, training needs assessment, curriculum development, job descriptions, and many other uses. SCID is a proven effective model for the development of various types of instructional materials that will help the instructor deliver effectively the competencies that are important to the learner. Emphasis is on learner-centered materials and performance-based assessment.
