grew quickly into one of the Internet's most known NASCAR driver web sites. Earnhardt Jr. Online continued to serve NASCAR fans through the end of the 2001 season.

Toward the end of the 2001 season, Earnhardt Jr. Online was closed and in it's place, a new Dale Jr. site, Dale Jr. Central, was opened. The name and URL were new, but the tradion of providing Internet users with the best and latest Dale Jr. news as well as ground breaking fan interaction features continued. Dale Jr. Central, a not-for-profit site, is not affiliated with DEI, NASCAR or Budweiser.
