In 1963, after working for Kugler's Jewelers for five years, Dale bought their Blackfoot store and changed the name to Dale's Jewelry. The store was located at 100 West Bridge Street. A watchmaker by trade, Dale grew the business by expanding both inventory and services. Thirty years and two store expansions later, Dale opened the Idaho Falls store in 1993. In 1998, Dale retired and the Blackfoot store was closed.
