Over the first 6 months the hotel was totally stripped and a huge refurbishment plan took place. Consisting of the ground floor public areas being restyled but still keeping the original character of this 15th Century family Mansion, creating a classic interpretation of elegance and tradition.
The bedrooms were then restyled; has created a “home from home” atmosphere, with each room styled in the elegant character but yet each different. Our clients all remark on the relaxing, calming effect the Hotel has and that the rooms are so much more personal than other Hotels they have frequented. A winter maintenance plan has since been drawn up every year and the Hotel is kept in top condition mainly due to the joint determination to bring it back to its former glory.
The Hotel has over the past seven years grown from strength to strength, facilities and top customer service is second to none. During our last RAC inspection the Hotel was given a Highly Recommended 3 star stasis, with our Fountain Restaurant receiving its second Dining Award.
