DAMAS was founded in 1863 by the young Danish artisan Jens Nielsen, who had just constructed the first grain cleaning machine. Jens Nielsen's objective was "to meet the customer's requirements", which earned him several awards - e.g. a gold medal at the World Exhibition in the year 1900 in Paris. DAMAS have the same objectives today, and the company is one of the leaders in the market."
