About DancingWithLunasA.com

The 'Dancing with Lunasa' festival takes place at Kinnitty Castle on Sunday 3rd August, at 2.00pm the weekend closest to the ancient celtic Lunasa harvest celebration. The ancient Celtic festival of Lughnasa celebrates art, music, dance and poetry. Lunasa takes its name from the Irish god Lugh, one of the chief gods of the Tuatha De Danann. “Lughnasa” was one of their most important ancient Celtic festivals and went on for 15 days.
