An EU directive prohibits the use of lead, among others, in new electrical and electronic products from July 2006. The RoHS directive in question affects the manufacture of components and circuit boards and will also necessitate changes in the manufacture and assembly of electronics products. Darekon has prepared for these changes by, for example, investing in production lines that meet the new requirements.
