Dave began his career at the Carson City Assessor’s Office on May 5, 1993. He was originally hired as a Personal Property Appraiser, then worked his way up to Chief Deputy Assessor. He was elected to his first term as Assessor in 2003 and is currently serving his second term. Dave graduated from South Tahoe High School in 1984 and enlisted in theU.S. Air Force in May 1985. There he became an Air Traffic Controller at one of the busiest MAC bases in the world.
