- The DEAF BAPTIST FELLOWSHIP OF AMERICA ( DBFA ) was founded in 1981 by Dr. John Clark. The DBFA's purpose is to reach lost souls for Christ; build local deaf ministries; communicate with and challenge Christian workers; encourage interpreters for the deaf, deaf workers and pastors; and train deaf people to serve the Lord.
