Photographer but also a film director, she has produced over thirty documentary films. Since 1980, together with the anthropologists Jean Paul Colleyn and Marc Augé, she has directed and produced a series of documentaries centered on animist practices in rural and urban West Africa, but also in Brazil and Venezuela.
