Description
David and Scott Burka have been in the real estate property management business (www.delbe.com) for over 25 years. They established Delbe Home Services and developed its franchise concept after receiving maintenance and repair requests from residential homeowners who resided in the communities they managed. Realizing there was a large need for dependable personal service to meet these needs, David and Scott set about creating a concept that would fill this void. In 1996 a preliminary trial run of the Delbe Home Services business concept was offered to clients needing assistance with their homes. Their concept was meet with such demand and success that in early 1997 David and Scott made a decision to expand the service to the general public. By the end of its first year, and primarily relying on word-of-mouth advertising, David and Scott Burka had managed to grow the business. After being approached by a few individuals and beginning to realize that no other company was providing a home service concept in the same manner as they were, they decided to begin franchising the Delbe Home Services concept in late 2000. Since then they have been recognized and written about in various U.S. and European publications.
