Make a micro-movie of under a minute and a half and you could win one of two cash prizes of £2000 each, have your film promoted online across the globe and see it screened at Encounters Short Film Festival taking place Tue 21 - Sun 26 November '06 in Bristol, UK.

NEW THIS YEAR! Animated + Brief = Encounters = 2 x DepicT! Awards

2006 sees Brief Encounters join forces with Animated Encounters to create a unique Film Festival combining the very best live action shorts with the cream of animation. To celebrate the merger, DepicT! is re-introducing two separate Awards, one for Live Action and Animation (£2000 each). The winners will also each receive a 1-year membership to LOVEFiLM.com, Europe's no. 1 DVD rental service.

Orange DepicT! '06 Audience Award

Once again, we are inviting the public to vote for their favourite DepicT! films. Short-listed films will be posted on the DepicT! web site, on LOVEFiLM.com and Orange World from Mon 9 Oct '06 and the winner of the Orange DepicT! '06 Audience Award will take home a top of the range mobile handset and other Orange prizes and a three month membership to LOVEFiLM.com
