Area of Benson AZ
Southeastern Arizona is known for its beautiful High-Desert scenery and wildlife. It is surrounded by several small mountain ranges including the Chiricahua Mountains, Huachuca Mountains, Santa Ritas, the Santa Catalinas, the Rincons, and the Piñalenos. It has a rich and diverse history from the Precolumbian inhabitants the Hohokam, to the more recent Tohono O'odham - also known as the “People of the Desert” - who live in the area today.

Benson – a friend of the president of the Southern Pacific Railroad), and of course the infamous Wild West stories of Tombstone, Arizona – home to Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday, and the Gunfight at OK Coral; Bisbee, Arizona – home to the Copper Queen Mine; Wilcox, Arizona – home to the Rex Allen Museum, and Yuma, Arizona – with one of the few natural crossings of the Colorado River and known for it’s early Steamboat Crossing.
