Welcome to Developmental Delay Resources
Description
DDR is an international non-profit organization established in 1994 as the Developmental Delay Registry. In 1998, the Board of Directors changed the name to Developmental Delay Resources to reflect our mission:
Disseminating information about causes and interventions for developmental delays, through our quarterly newsletter, workshops, conferences, library and website, as well as selling books and tapes,
Members of DDR support the inter-relationship of physical, cognitive and social-emotional development of children whose delays are on a continuum from mild to severe. Delays include, but are not limited to, sensory-motor deficits, speech.language disorders, attention deficits, learning disabilities, pervasive developmental disorder and autism.
