DFD Russell Medical Centers - Turner, Leeds and Monmouth Maine
Description edit
Excerpted from the website:
- The DFD Russell Medical Center (DFDRMC) was started in 1975 as an independent public/private partnership by concerned residents of Leeds, Maine and the 6 surrounding towns following the death of the area's only physician, Dr. Daniel Frank Davis Russell. The Medical Center was named after Dr. Russell and was formed to provide affordable and accessible health care to its area residents. It is guided by a 9 member Board of Directors comprised of patients and residents from the service area with patient services provided by 5 physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, 2 mental health providers, 2 physician assistants and a certified nurse midwife. DFDRMC providers utilize an electronic medical record system to enhance the quality of care, improve patient safety, and track clinical outcomes.
