- D&G was founded in 1975 by George Jackson one of the original fertilizing professionals in Michigan. George started his business with a background in landscaping and realized their was a need for more specialized lawn care in the area. The first customer base was in Livonia then reached out from there. George continued to grow his business for 20 years then his two sons came into the picture George Jr. and Jim.
