Diamond Fans is a not-for-profit web site I run as a hobby. I'm a baseball fan who lives in Eugene, Oregon, and my goal is to provide an enjoyable site that baseball fans can explore and perhaps learn something new about the world's greatest sport. I played baseball as a kid and teenager, and have been a fan all my life. As I said, this web site is a hobby; in fact I guess you could say that baseball is my hobby. I run this site, collect baseball cards, sometimes help coach my sons' youth teams, and watch (in person or on TV) as many games as I can.
The focus on the site is on baseball history and the various ways fans enjoy the sport. Written contributions from visitors to the site are welcomed and encouraged. I hope you enjoy the site, whether you're a baseball fanatic or just a casual fan of the sport.
