The Cardiac Surgeons Diet and Health Design
Description
is a simple one -- follow this system of eating a balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fat-containing foods in moderation, and you will look better, feel better, have more energy, and potentially live longer -- without being hungry.
As a cardiovascular surgeon, Dr. B.P. Loughridge spent 28 years working with heart patients. During this time, one of the many things he observed was the fact that surgical patients often times were weaker at their three-week postoperative evaluation than they were when they left the hospital.
After extensive research, Dr. Loughridge determined that poor nutrition -- resulting from a low sodium, minimal fat and meat, and high carbohydrate diet was the problem. In essence, these patients were undernourished.
