Digital Hearth is the sporadically updated personal blog of one Alexander Wesley Mahan, active in one way or another since late 1999. He went table-free in 2001. He wishes to spend more time writing long, meaningful, heartfelt essays, but in this ADHD age of 'microblogging' and 'status updates', finds it easier just to chirp here and there on sites like Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, and LastFM.
