David Rosen established Digital Independence in 2000 to examine how structural changes in society, economy and technology are fostering a new era of independent media.
To this end, he has worked with friends, associates and others to host DI-2001, the DI planning session (2002) and DI-2004. The Ford Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation as well as other organizations supported these gatherings. He is currently completing the manuscript for “Shake-up: Independent Media & the Restructuring of the Culture Industry.”
David is a business development specialist with twenty years industry experience. He currently serves as Vice President, Corporate Development, and ComCam, an Internet Protocol (IP) video networking company.
