- A multiple Emmy Award winning production company, Digital Ranch is run by Robert Kirk and Rob Lihani, two veteran producers who have produced hundreds of hours of television for A&E, ABC, CBS, Court TV, FOX, HBO, History Channel, NBC, and many other cable networks, as well as numerous television commercials and interactive CD-ROMs. Based in Los Angeles, Digital Ranch is currently in production on the fifth season of their hit series Mail Call, starring R. Lee Ermey of Full Metal Jacket fame (History Channel). They recently produced two Mail Call specials: Live from the Gulf and A Very Ermey Christmas; the one-hour special Mail Call: D-Day will see Digital Ranch on location in Europe this spring. The program will premiere June 6, 2004, the 60th anniversary of D-Day. Their newest series Shifting Gears, a lifestyle program about everything automobile, stars Josh Hancock and premiered on the same network in fall 2003. A Dangerous Game premiered on Court TV in March 2004, the second one-hour special written, directed and produced by Digital Ranch for the Court TV's anthology series The System. Lovers Leap premiered in December 2002. Digital Ranch recently entered into a co-production deal with Simmons Lathan Media Group to produce Russell Simmons Presents: Hip Hop Justice for Court TV about the potentially unfair criminal stigma regularly attached to the Hip Hop industry. Simmons Lathan Media Group is a production and distribution company founded by Hip Hop mogul Russell Simmons and producer/director Stan Lathan; Digital Ranch has already produced two direct-to-DVD projects with Simmons Lathan: F.E.D.S. and Truth. Digital Ranch created more than 30 national TV commercials and over 70 webisodes for the US Armys most successful ad campaign ever: An Army of One / GoArmy.com. In April 2003 Digital Ranch released the 35mm docu-drama, The Hittites, co-produced with EKiP Film in Istanbul, and narrated by Academy Award(r) winner Jeremy Irons. From Hip Hop to Stonehenge, from Snipers to James Bond's Gadgets, Digital Ranch brings to the table a state-of-the-art, full-service production facility, plus over 5,000 hours of footage in its tape library.
