Daku is all about the money, because I am money. Many might say I'm a super geek in training who keeps failing that last elective but Zampzon's opinion only matters to Manga haters. So who is this 'Daku the Rogue'?
He's the inner writer in you that loves to see a story unfold and the villain fail but get away laughing manically to torment the boring hero another day. He cares about the art work only as far as the art reflects what the words are trying to convey. If a pie is about to hit Bill Gates in the face the art should be cartoony, but if the master swordsman is about to face down the necromancer the art should be dark with crisp lines. Always skip the monologue and he really doesn't care why the two great empires are at war, all he cares about is that the story and that the world described comes alive in his imagination.
It's pretty obvious I prefer graphic novels but even I get a little restless of keeping up so the gag strip has its place. If you're going to make me laugh you have to include obscure references and sarcasm. Randomness is just noise and it's almost too easy when compared to hearing about customer support callers being the first ones against the wall when the revolution comes.
