Over the past nine years, the Discover Islam Poster Exhibition and the Discover Islam Readers have been distributed and used in various outreach programs throughout the world. The posters and readers have been extensively displayed in America, Australia, Britain, Canada, and Denmark to Yemen, Zambia, and Zimbabwe and most countries in between. To date, over 10,000 poster sets; over 2.7 million Readers in four languages (English, French, German and Spanish); and 2.4 million postcards have been distributed. Translations into Italian, Russian, Swahili and Ukrainian have been completed; whereas translations into Arabic, Hindi, Malay, Mandarin and Urdu are underway. The Discover Islam series of products have become the mainstay of outreach materials here in the United States and in many parts of the world.

Post 9-11 America, wars against terror, war with Afghanistan and Iraq, and Islam taking center stage in world affairs mean that the onslaught of attacks on Islam and Muslim ideologies will continue and will intensify. Simply put, we cannot afford to sit back and let this ideological attack continue. We have to respond, we have to reply in a better, kinder, gentler manner. We have to invite and educate non-Muslims about Islam. Our outreach efforts have to be greater in quantity and quality. The Discover Islam range of products seek to do exactly that. In tandem with other outreach initiatives, including: advertising; distribution of books and videos; one-on-one discussions; lectures and events; and practical outreach programs like volunteerism; the Discover Islam posters and readers are ideal for delivering this beautiful message of Islam.
