- Discovery Day Academy’s building is a custom designed facility being built adjacent to Clewiston’s elementary schools. It has been planned to provide a safe, healthy, and stimulating preschool program for children 2 - 5 years of age, with an after care program up to 5th grade. Each age level will have a separate classroom filled with equipment appropriate to their age level. The technologically advanced facility will offer services such as a custom designed camera system which will allow parents to view their children while at work through secure web access. This service as well as many others are provided at no additional charge. The playground is designed to challenge and delight each age group. The equipment is commercial grade and approved by the State of Florida, ensuring a safe and large area for many children to enjoy playing at the same time. The playground has been designed to include an area two times larger than the state’s requirements. It will be equipped with misting systems to keep our children cool on those hot Florida days.
