I am a 24 year old DJ from Southend on Sea in Essex, England. I mainly play Garage music but I also enjoy a bit of R’n’B from time to time as well. One thing that makes me different from most other DJs is that I prefer to mix CDs rather than vinyl. Although I am able to mix both CD and vinyl, I decided to concentrate more on CDs and subsequently my music collection consists entirely of CDs and my mixing equipment is the latest in Pioneer CD mixing.
I am always very keen to keep my CD collection up to date and although I have only been DJing since 2000, I have already built up a collection of several hundred garage CDs not to mention the R'n'B ones as well.
I can at present only call myself a bedroom DJ as this is where most of my action takes place (cut out the rude comments!) although I have been a DJ at a number of private parties with my mates. I have been told I have the talent to take my DJing further and would like to be given the opportunity to get into clubs or hired for parties.
