Dr. Donielle (Doni) Wilson received her Bachelor's degrees in Nutrition and General Science from Oregon State University. She then received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University, the leading accredited institution for the study of natural medicine. After five years of science-based training in holistic health care and natural childbirth, Dr. Wilson completed her residency in family practice at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health in Seattle, Washington. In addition, Dr. Wilson was selected to intern with Dr. Tori Hudson, a recognized naturopathic physician and author of Women's Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine.
Dr. Wilson is an expert in natural health care for women, particularly natural therapies for menopause. She also has extensive experience working with adults and children with allergies (food, chemical and environmental), fatigue, frequent infections, hormone imbalances, diabetes, high cholesterol, migraines, insomnia and digestive problems.
Dr. Wilson is President of the New York Association of Naturopathic Physicians and a board member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. In May 2004, Dr. Wilson was awarded the Naturopathic Physician of the Year Award by the NYANP. She lectures regularly on the topics of menopause, food allergies, homeopathy for home use and general health for adults and children. She actively participates in childbirth related associations as a Certified Professional Midwife and Doula.
