REVIEW OF DOCTOR KUSHNER'S DIET
No two people are exactly the same, so it seems quite unlikely that one particular approach to nutrition and exercise would work for everyone. At least, this is what Dr. Robert F. Kushner concluded before he wrote his book, Dr. Kushner’s Personality Type Diet. He claims that if individuals can simply target their weaknesses, then they can go about overcoming them more effectively. This, he argues, will lead to lasting weight loss. Of course, this book is just one of hundreds of diet books currently crowding bookstore shelves. We will carefully examine this diet in order to determine who can most stand to benefit, and whether or not it is as effective as it claims.

REVIEW OF Dr. Kushner's Personality Type Diet
Dr. Kushner’s plan asks dieters to complete a 66-item questionnaire that explores their eating habits and preferences. From this, they can then determine their diet personality, whether it’s an “Unguided Grazer or an Emotional Stuffer”. From there, he suggests small changes that are designed to help counteract self-defeating behavior. Dr. Kushner is also big on “superfoods”, such as fruits, vegetables, lentils, and soy products. While this is not a vegetarian diet, he suggests that dieters reduce their consumption of red meat, and instead focus on fish, poultry, and vegetarian dishes. The book offers recipe suggestions, as well as tips for maintaining the plan in the long term.
