Morag MacDonald is a documentary photographer living in Bristol (UK) with her husband and two young daughters. Starting out in fashion photography she continues to freelance in editorial and film stills. Morag lectures in photography and is currently writing a book titled 'A Professional Photographers Guide to Digital Wedding Photography' which is to be published by Argentum (an imprint of Aurum Press) in Spring 2007.
She is a 'Craftsman' of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (Cr SWPP) and an Associate of the British Professional Photographers Association (ABPPA). She has a BA (Hons) in Documentary Photography (University of Wales College Newport) and brings this training to life when she photographs a wedding.
It is her aim to create beautiful documentary images and stunning portraits, in a style that is natural and unobtrusive. Her coverage begins with the bride as she prepares for the day, capturing events as they unfold. Traditional group photography is covered, but kept to a minimum leaving room to create a truly fresh and modern Wedding Album.
