In July 2002 Dogwood Training Academy updated its name to ADOG - Atlanta's Dogwood Obedience Group when it was purchased by Kate Hartsfield, Michelle Petit and Sharon and Joe Willis. They will continue the Dogwood tradition and high standards set by the founder of Dogwood Training Academy, Nancy Patton, with the help of their excellent instructors and volunteers. Our instructors have dog-training experience ranging from five years to over thirty years with many different breeds. They not only compete in the sport of obedience, but also agility, tracking, conformation, hunting, rally and herding.
Ranking in the top ten in the United States Dog Obedience and American Kennel Club Championships with Golden Retrievers, Puli, Shetland Sheepdogs, Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, Labrador Retrievers, Welsh Springer Spaniels, Poodles and other breeds.
