I competed in junior golf, high school, college, and professional golf with the highlight of my career occurring at the 2006 PGA Championship at Medinah CC in Chicago where I made the cut and finished as low PGA of America professional. I am currently teaching golf at Reid-West Golf Academies and I have instructed at locations such as Gainey Ranch, Resort Golf Schools, TPC of Scottsdale, and The Golf Club Scottsdale. As an instructor and competitor of the game of golf, I am well aware of the desire to play better. All golfers want to improve and therefore enjoy their game and time on the golf course. I have competed at every level, including three PGA Championships, so I know from experience how important it is to have a knowledgeable instructor. The golf swing is extremely dynamic and requires quite a bit of maintenance. In order to become a consistent golfer, one must learn how to swing properly and then go out on the course and execute. I can help you improve the mechanics of your swing by focusing on a few essentials: pivot, plane of your golf club, angle of attack, and impact position. On course instruction is part of my teaching plan as well; this is where it all happens. Learning to swing the golf club properly is a big part of playing good golf, but it is only part of the equation. We will most definitely work on the short game. We can waste a lot of shots from around and on the green, or we can save a lot of shots. The best golfers save shots near and on the putting green.
