- Doolin's Harley Davidson "raised" its kickstand and started the journey from Oklahoma as Jack's Motorcycle Shop in 1964. The year 1969 finds us rolling into Texarkana to a one room shop determined to increase our "cubic inches"! As the business grew we moved to the Lake Drive location everyone is so familiar with in 1970. It is here that Jay Doolin and Donita Bolt joined the experience. Jay as service technician and Donita ran the parts and motorclothes department. As the gears turned 2nd gear found Jack to be retiring in 1980 and sadly enough passing on to the "Open Road Above" in April of 1992. Missed by many, his name can still be heard anywhere "seasoned Bikers" gather!. Mary continued to operate Jacks' Motorcycle Shop until 1985 when opportuniy knocked. 3rd gear and here we go--- Suddenly Mary gave birth to ---- DOOLIN'S HARLEY DAVIDSON,INC. Jay and Donita both worked endless hours along with Mary for 20 years moving to the present location, increasing our "cubic inches" AGAIN. Mary then decided (without much ado) it was time to feel the wind in her face any time she wanted. It was then, in January 2005 that Jay and Donita shifted into 4th gear buying the business from Mary. Along with this venture came Jeanie Gourdon-motorclothes, David Bison Service Manager, Steve Herriage Shop Foreman, Parts Dept.- David Cargile,Mark Terry. Shipping and receiving-Zach Hilton,and Dianna Griffin Sales Manager. 5th gear found us all "revved up" and eagerly awaiting to serve you with a smile and a friendly face.
