- About Dr. Mark Sherman
- Dr. Mark D. Sherman is certified as a general surgeon by the American Board of Surgery, and recently passed the recertification process that this body requires every 10 years (scoring in the 98th percentile). In 1974, Dr. Sherman graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine, earning the award for best student of Surgery. His undergraduate study was done at the University of Vermont, where he majored in Physics, and he performed the remainder of his graduate studies at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, from which he graduated in 1979. His practice has been located in the Ridgewood, NJ area ever since.
