Opened in February of 2002, Drishti is powered by the creativity and dedication of eight individuals. Each has her or his own committed yoga practice, and together they form the core of the Drishti "family".
Jennifer Muhlethaler, owner - Jenni began Drishti in 2001 out of her 1999 Honda Civic! Her dream space for Drishti opened up shortly thereafter and she moved Drishti from the trunk of her car to an elegant retail location. Jenni came to Santa Barbara in 1996 to attend UC Santa Barbara, graduating with a B.A. in both Religious Studies and Cultural Anthropology. She discovered yoga in 1997 while in college, and has been a committed Ashtanga Yoga practitioner since May of 2000.
Ali Eastley - A native to Colorado, Ali first came to Santa Barbara to attend UCSB in 2001. She has since completed her undergraduate work in Law & Environmental Studies and is seeking admission to an Environmental Law program. Ali's favorite spots include Romero Canyon, Mesa Lane, and the Coffee Cat, where she is a frequent runner, biker, surfer, and reader. She has practiced Bikram yoga for four years.
