- The work on creating Driver Database started in the spring of 2004. The goal was to keep check of what the different race car drivers are doing and what they have done, and in a unscientistic way create som sort of ranking system. After months of work and some small changes it was realized that the database wasn't designed to work with what the new changes required. Everything was removed and work started from scratch again. In December 2004 an unpolished Driverdb.com was launched. During the spring it was gradually changed to become bilingual. In 2006 the current version was uploaded. I decided to skip the swedish part of the site this time (it's mostly numbers and figures on the site anyway) and the ranking system is put on ice.
