Dry Patchy Skin

For some inexplicable reason a human gene may mutate that will lead to the birth of what is an alleged 'Snake Baby.' The mutation may cause a skin illness called Harlequin Ichthyosis that would result in a serious deformation of the physical features of the child due to the crack of the skin which really appear to be the scales of a snake.

Upon birth, the child might suffer a lot of pain whilst the breaking of your skin includes injuries and bleeding. The eyes are huge and are reddish in color making them appear to be the eyes of 'aliens' that you simply is able to see in the films. Aside from that, they're also bleeding. The nose might be absent leaving only two holes in the place where it should be. The same thing happens for the ears. The mouth is circular and big enough to be called 'normal' for a newborn baby; it resembles the mouth of a snake, too.

The worst thing is, the newborn child has just a day or two to stay. Severe infection is probable the explanation for the unexpected death or the failure in breathing. There are problems in-the internal organs of the infant making it hard to live.

The first reported incident could be traced back since 1750 when a reverend in Charlestown, South Carolina was called to bless or anoint a dying daughter or son. He made a confession then that he had put-up a small volume to help the family. and seen a pitiful creature that requires medical help

The sam-e case occur in 1984 when a lady gave birth to just one more harlequin daughter or son, although it was burdensome for medical research to handle such disease due to lack of research and services. By the intervention of science, the kid survived making her the oldest of harlequin disease survivors--she is currently 26 years old.

Although, the others are skeptical about this, there are documentaries which could prove that there were harlequin births. In-fact, the reported cases might reach as much as 400 cases of harlequin births, nevertheless, only several survived longer and only one survivor reaches 26 years-old and still lives.

Ichthyosis Infection isn't merely a disease; it is a mutation of human genes. Thus, age and race have nothing related to it and everyone could have it. While, there are modern facilities to help medical practitioners recognize an illness like this, the very thought of giving birth into a pitiful baby scares all mothers.
