Description
Dukascopy project was launched in 1998. It involved Java software development which implemented novel mathematical techniques for processing financial data based on research in econophysics. The project was developed by a group of enthusiasts: physicists who met at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research). The founder and first director of Dukascopy Trading Technologies Corporation was Dr A. Duka who left Dukascopy to pursue research when the project reached the stage of commercial exploitation.
