The Eastern Indonesia Network for Human Development

edit Description

EasIHanD Consulting designs and delivers high impact training and organizational culture-change initiatives. Our mission is to help clients succeed by unlocking and harnessing the potential of their people towards organizational objectives.

We help organizations create and sustain high performance cultures and align employee skills, attitudes and work habits with corporate goals and strategies. Our humanistic, principle-centered and pragmatic approach and methods inspire dramatic improvements in employee performance.

Founded in Makassar in 2008, we bring a deep understanding of Eastern Indonesia to our training programs. We have grown rapidly into one of Eastern Indonesia’s leading training providers.

EasIHanD’s training programs maximize impact through structured sequences of practical and relevant learning experiences. They motivate participants to change, and equip them with the practical skills they need to do so successfully. All the standard programs below can be precisely tailored to address your specific needs and goals

TRAINING APPROACH

Each of EasIHanD’s training program is a careful process of preparation, training and reinforcement that meets your needs and ensures sustained improvements. The steps are:

Analysis. We begin by analyzing clients' expectations and taking an in-depth look at organizational realities.

Design. We then design a periodic sequence of training, reinforcement and follow-up activities that lasts between one and twelve months depending on the scale of the desired changes. Once we have refined and agreed on the approach, we compile suitable materials, either by tailoring existing programs or, where necessary, writing new ones.

Training. We deliver the core content of each training program in two to five-day intensive workshops for up to 15 participants, starting at the highest organizational level. Our facilitators make each workshop a challenging, practical, participatory and fun.

Follow-up and Reinforcement. We follow up training programs to ensure the knowledge and skills they gain are applied to improve everyday work performance. These include follow-up assignments to put into practice what they have learnt, follow-up programs that provide a forum for consolidation and reinforcement of learning, individual coaching sessions and evaluation activities. Follow-up programs are normally held 1 to 2 months after each training program.

TRAINING METHODS

EasIHanD training programs engage and energize participants in creating a positive, memorable and often deeply significant learning experience. Our participatory training techniques draw heavily on real-life experiences, concerns, abilities and hopes so the learning effectively answers their individual needs. As a result, participants often tell us our training programs are the best they have ever attended.

Methods include:

-Icebreakers and learning games -Personal reflection activities -Group brainstorming and problem-solving activities -Individual and team application exercises -Feedback sessions -Video presentation of skills -Roleplay of skills -Simulations -Video-based feedback on roleplay performance -Team challenges and games
