The Earth Preservation Fund (EPF)

S ince our founding in 1979, the Earth Preservation Fund(EPF) has worked to preserve the resources we enjoy most. Over the past 22 years, the EPF has supported numerous community-based environmental, educational, and cultural preservation programs. Meet the founders & staff.
Currently the EPF is supporting a traditional cultural school in Nepal, a reforestation project in Tanzania, and a traditional weaving project in Peru amongst a host of others around the world.
have seen a dramatic decline in their local economies due to the lack of tourism dollars. Meeting this need, the EPF is working with community leaders to find ways to re-employ these individuals through environmental conservation and restoration projects. This serves two purposes, it minimizes the economic loss to the community and improves the natural environment at the same time.
