The concept is simple. We crowdsource environmental good! What is crowdsourcing? It's putting an idea out to the "crowd" to our members for free advice and perspective. Picture a challenge at home or work, connected with trying to do anything, or produce something, in a way which allows the reuse, recycling, or reduction of effort. Maybe instead of throwing an item away, there is another use for it? This is where EcoApprentice encouraging group-think --- all in the name of creating a better (eco-friendly) solution to your question.
EcoApprentice has had faculty from four colleges sign on with the goal of to providing opportunities for students to apply what they're learned in the classroom to real-life issues. It's a chance for students to build their resumes, and to share innovation on a community level connected to sustainability!
