Culture is the most sacred tradition, we as people, have been afforded so far... It has long been defined and determined by our collective arts, entertainment and sciences. As our culture becomes increasingly absorbed in a commercial world, where more than a significant part is played by a handful of entertainment corporations (an extraordinary resposibility), we must question their methods and motives. Case in point: The ratio of disposable, soul-depraved, homogenized content compared to truly creative, inspiring, timeless content has reached epidemic proportions! Is it corporate greed? Or just pure laziness? We think it's a little from Column A and a lot from Column B.

The Edge City Foundation is a non-profit distribution endeavor. We firmly believe in the power of advancing technology, marketing and of course the Internet to offer the masses a better choice in news and entertainment. We also believe this offering can add a greater dimension to our culture at large. Hence, to the extent that we want to be the first patrons of a new Renaissance, yeah, you could say that.
